What coffee can I expect?
All of our coffee is 100% arabica premium single origin.
If you purchase a coffee subscription we will send you 2 African coffee varieties each month.
When placing your order you will be asked to choose a grind type and quantity, we will take care of the rest.
How fresh is your coffee?
We change our coffee every month meaning we procure small batches and don't leave coffee beans sitting around perishing. All beans are roasted shortly before they are dispatched to ensure maximum freshness.
What grind types do you offer?
We can supply your coffee in the following ways...
1. Whole Bean - recommended for ultimate freshness
2. Coarse Grind- suitable for Cafetière (French Press), Chemex, Percolator and Cold Brew
3. Medium Grind - suitable for Aeropress, Filter, Chemex, V60, Clever Drip and Moka Pot
4. Fine Grind - suitable for Nespresso style re-usable pods
We recommend all customers using an espresso machine order whole bean and grind their own at home. This is due to each machine and bean type requiring a different fine grind size.
Will you charge me for delivery?
All subscriptions and orders over £50 will be delivered free of charge anywhere in the UK.
A delivery charge for orders under £50 will be added at checkout.
When will I receive my order?
All orders (excl subscriptions) are despatched on a 3 working day aim service. Orders are usually delivered within 3-5 working days of purchase.
Subscription orders: We despatch subscription orders on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. When you place your order you will be allocated the next available despatch date. All subscriptions are despatched on a 3 working day aim service.
After your first shipment you will receive delivery at the same occurrence once a month until your subscription ends.
Where is my order?
All orders are sent on a 3 working day aim service. You will receive a notification once your order has been despatched. If you haven't received your order within 5 working days of your order being despatched contact us at email@example.com to investigate.

Do you ship outside of the UK?
Unfortunately we don't ship outside of the UK at the moment however we are looking to change this soon so please check back.If you sign up to our mailing list we will notify you as we roll out to new destinations.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes, all our packaging is 100% recyclable. At Mara Coffee we work hard to ensure we are playing our part in trying to minimise the impact to our environment.
Which subscription size is right for me?
We understand that everyones caffeine needs are different and that's why we offer different size options for our subscriptions. See a breakdown below to help you decide the right size for you.
2 boxes of coffee (250g each) - approx 70 cups of coffee
4 boxes of coffee (250g each) - approx 140 cups of coffee
All calculations are based on the UK standard measurement of 7 grams of coffee per cup. If you use more/less coffee per cup please bear in mind this will change the number of cups stated above.
Can I make changes to my subscription order?
Yes, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be able to assist with any changes required.
Please allow up to 5 days for your account changes to be processed.
